In an ever-changing industry, few landscaping firms can boast a 100-year history, but Frank Haw Landscaping can! In 1915, Charles Haw migrated here from England and began working on commercial landscaping projects for GM executives and Flint School for the Deaf. A decade later, he started his own firm, which was taken over in the fifties by his youngest two sons. George Haw continued to run the business solo after his brother passed away in the seventies. Then, in 1997, Frank Haw became the third generation to lead Haw Lawn and Landscape, which satisfied residential and commercial clients by specializing in:
- lawn maintenance – mowing, mulching, lawn and tree planting and trimming, lawn fertilization, sod, weed control
- sprinkler systems
- lawn renovations
- hardscapes
- seasonal cleanups
